OUR IMPACT

From small business workshops to cultural events, ACE's approach to community empowerment is centered on providing true ownership and identity to members of our community. With small steps and strong partnerships, ACE is strengthening the community's core through impactful and engaging initiatives.

Chairwoman, Mileyka Burgos with Matt Haggman, Knight Foundation's Miami Program Director at the event "Rethinking Libraries in the Digital Age"	ACE participated in the RAND Institute's ENGAGED Toolkit: Community Resilience Leadership Workshop". It focused on determining the organizations’ capacity and capabilities to participate in disaster response and recovery.
ACE became a 3rd Party Voter Organization and began registering future voters.	Jose David Alvarez from the Hispanic Business Initiative Fund lead a "Small Business Expansion Workshop" sponsored by ACE
ACE met with Miguel A. Hernandez Mirabal, Director of the School of Architecture at the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo, which is the public university system in the Dominican Republic	ACE has assisted local entrepreneurs in the set up and expansion of their business.
ACE recently met with The City of Miami Special Events Department to propose engaging events that foster culture and identity.
